• Chrysler LLC Joins Expanded “Invest in America” Partnership (12/16/08)
  After a successful launch of the "Invest in America" credit union loan partnership last week, Chrysler Corporation LLC announced it will join the partnership. This gives 1,295 credit unions in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois access to cash discounts for its members from two of America’s three domestic automakers and access to affordable financing on new vehicle purchases. Eight other states also will participate in the Chrysler discount program.

  At a time when economic stress is sweeping the nation and threatening the survival of the U.S. auto industry, a consortium of 1,200 Midwest credit unions announce a vehicle purchase price discount from GM available to their members.
• The Michigan Credit Union League Expands Presence in Lansing (12/5/08)
  The Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) will move on Dec. 12 into a new office on the ninth and tenth floors of 101 S. Washington Square in Lansing.
• Michigan’s Credit Unions Growing Amid Financial Turmoil (12/5/08)
  Michigan’s 350 credit unions expanded membership and increased loan growth during the 3rd quarter, according to new statistics released by the National Credit Union Administration and the Michigan Credit Union League.
